Adenovirus (Ad) is an envelope-free double-stranded DNA virus with a particle size of about 90 nm and a genome size of 30-38 kb. adenovirus has the ability to be histophilic and infect a variety of dividing and non-dividing cells. oncolytic adenovirus (OAd) is a tool developed based on adenovirus. OAd is a class of adenovirus based on adenovirus, which can specifically kill tumor cells after artificial modification, and is widely studied and used because of its advantages of wide host infection, safe and easy production, and the ability to insert large exogenous genes.
